The Model 975 Roll Groover combines two tools in one. Like other RIDGID® roll groovers, the 975 mounts to the RIDGID 300 power drive for power grooving tasks. Its design also allows pipes to be slotted manually, using rollers, in the same place of work.
Characteristics
- Automatic alignment and depth regulator simplify use - The 975 slotter incorporates a new patented automatic alignment technology that greatly simplifies the job. In both powered and manual jobs, the AutoTracking indicator automatically keeps the tube connected to the groover throughout the entire grooving process. Additionally, the 975 includes a permanent depth regulator that allows for faster, repeatable installations.
- Less manual effort required - During manual grooving, since the 975's gear reduction is 55% greater than other competitive manual grooving machines, it requires less hand effort. This is especially useful when grooving tubes above the operator.
- Durable and transportable - Thanks to its strong ductile iron construction, the 975 tolerates tough jobsite conditions and produces accurate slots every time. With the 975's cast handle, it's easy to carry to and from the job site.
