Telescopic Gauge 1.1/4-2.1/8", Starrett

The Starrett 229 Telescopic Gauge is used to determine the actual size of holes, slots and gaps up to 6" (150 mm).

The ends of both contacts are hardened and ground to a radius to allow adequate clearance in the smallest hole the meter will make.

Enter this tool should be rocked slightly in the hole being measured to ensure the tool is the proper diameter before locking and removing.

The final hole size is obtained by measuring the contacts of the gauge with a micrometer.

1 1/4"-2 1/8" (32-54mm) Range, 2 3/8" (60mm) Handle.
