Starrett's 83 Series "Yankee" Spring Splitters with Flat Legs and Solid Nut are made of high quality steel and well finished. The legs are made of flat material and are very durable. The tongs feature a hardened fulcrum bolt, a strong, flexible bowstring, and a centrally located leg adjustment to ensure smooth action. The collet size and capacity is 12". 8" (200 mm) with solid nut ensuring smooth action. The size and capacity of the clamp is 12".
